Personal History

David grew up in Bloomington and attended the Bloomington Public Schools until he graduated from Lincoln High School in 1969. This was a period of immense growth for the School District which required students to attend split shifts in elementary school before enough facilities were built to house all of them. David then attended the University of Minnesota for his bachelor's degree, and then the U of M Law School for his J.D.

Although retired, he still comes to the office every day to make sure that things are running smoothly.
